Rohini Singh
Founder & President
Ms. Rohini Singh is a distinguished Social Work Professional and the Founder & President of Charvi Empowerment Society (CES). With a stellar career spanning over 17 years, she has demonstrated expertise in Research, Monitoring & Evaluation, Livelihood, Training, and leadership of community-driven projects. Rohini’s extensive experience includes impactful roles with Gramin Vikas Trust (GVT), the National Sample Survey Office (NSSO), and the Family Planning Association of India (FPAI).
She is highly skilled in both quantitative and qualitative research techniques, encompassing household, village, industrial, and agricultural interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) techniques, and in-depth interviews. Her proficiency extends to data analysis, project management, audits, and the preparation and presentation of high-quality reports to diverse stakeholders, including corporates and government bodies.
Academically, Rohini is well-versed in interdisciplinary knowledge, holding a Master’s in Management, a Master’s in Social Work, and a Bachelor’s in Statistics, Banaras Hindu University. Her unwavering commitment to driving sustainable community development has been instrumental in the success and growth of CES, making a lasting impact on numerous lives.
She is a seasoned development professional with more than 19 years of experience driving social change across diverse communities in India. She is the Treasurer & Director of at Charvi Empowerment Society (CES), where she leads programs on women’s empowerment, education, livelihood promotion, health, and community development.Her expertise spans life skills training, sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) education, gender equality, counseling, and grassroots mobilization.
Over the years, she has worked with leading organizations including the Family Planning Association of India, Navjyoti India Foundation etc. She has also contributed as a resource person for Plan India, Save the Children, and government institutions, conducting workshops and awareness sessions on SRHR, health, nutrition, gender equity, and mental well-being.Asha is known for her ability to design and implement community-based programs, build strong stakeholder partnerships, and foster sustainable empowerment for marginalized groups, particularly women and youth.
She holds a Master’s in Social Work (IGNOU) along with certifications in NGO Management, HIV & Health Education, and vocational skills.

Armin Jamshedji Neogi

With an outstanding academic foundation and over forty years of professional experience, Mrs. Armin Jamshedji Neogi offers extensive expertise in Monitoring & Evaluation, community engagement, and program management. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology, specializing in Industrial and Child Development, from Osmania University, Hyderabad, where she also commenced her career as a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology.
Over the course of 43 years, she has held pivotal roles in esteemed organizations, including:
• Research Assistant at India Fertility Research Programme, Hyderabad
• Research Officer at the Indian Council of Medical Research - Genetic Research Centre, Bombay
• Project Coordinator, Consultant, Assistant Director, and Director (M&E) at the Family Planning Association of India (FPA India).
Her tenure at FPA India was marked by groundbreaking contributions to areas such as community participation, adolescent and youth development, and gender-focused initiatives. She played a critical role in the organization’s Monitoring and Evaluation activities, ensuring evidence-based decision-making and impactful interventions. Her leadership as Director of M&E underscored her dedication to high standards of program design, implementation, and assessment.
A seasoned professional, she is recognized for her ability to integrate research methodologies with practical applications, fostering community-driven solutions and empowering vulnerable populations. Her legacy includes the mentorship of future leaders in the social development sector and the creation of sustainable, impactful programs.
Having retired from FPA India as Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, she remains a thought leader and a source of inspiration in the fields of psychology, public health, and social development.

Raju Tamang
Deputy Chief of Party and MEL Lead, Jhpiego
Mr. Raju Tamang is a seasoned Public Health Specialist with extensive experience at international (Asia and the Pacific) and national levels within the non-profit organization management and public health sectors. He currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Party and MEL Lead at Jhpiego.
An accomplished community and social services professional with a Master’s Degree in Public Health Epidemiology from the Indian Institute of Public Health. Adept at fostering meaningful collaborations with international and national development agencies such as USAID, BMGF, DFAT, DFID, EC, UNAIDS, and SIDA.
Demonstrates a strong ability to design and implement public health interventions, deliver high-quality technical assistance, and evaluate programs for evidence-based policy formulation. A visionary leader committed to driving sustainable health outcomes and empowering communities globally.

Dr. Pradeep Sharma
Neurosurgen
Dr. Pradeep Sharma is a distinguished neurosurgeon and dedicated public health practitioner with over a decade of professional experience. He holds an MBBS, an MS in General Surgery (Gold Medalist), and an MCh in Neurosurgery, demonstrating his exceptional academic and clinical expertise.
Beyond his surgical practice, Dr. Sharma has made significant strides in the social and public health sectors. With a focus on promoting equity and accessibility, he has worked extensively to develop and implement innovative community-based accountability processes. These initiatives aim to enhance communitization and democratization of public health systems and policies, ensuring that healthcare services are inclusive, participatory, and sustainable.
Dr. Sharma’s unique blend of clinical excellence and public health expertise enables him to address complex health challenges holistically. His work continues to impact individuals and communities across India, reflecting his unwavering commitment to improving health outcomes and advancing systemic change.
